Artist: Royal Wood, Album: The Waiting, Song: On Top Of Your Love

"You scare me half to death but you bring on my best.  The worst I haven't seen but  give it all to me.  I wanna get on top of your love."  Royal Wood is a singer songwriter from Ontario who started his career in 2002.  Eight years later, finds him continuing to perfect his craft with the release of his latest album entitled, The Waiting.  Already garnering a lot of critical acclaim for his music.  The Waiting won him the Itunes award for Songwriter of the Year and he will be on tour in support of David Gray.  On Top Of Your Love is a song about pleasure and lust from this latest release.  Royal Wood sings confidently on this track that shows an experience beyond his years.  He actually reminds me of another Canadian artist by the name of Hawksley Workman, who he has collaborated with in the past.  The album, The Waiting, is available on Itunes and Amazon.  You can follow Royal Wood and his music at http://www.royalwood.ca/.  You can also get a free download of the song, On Top Of Your Love, there as well.  He is in the middle of his Canadian tour and he'll be in B.C. during the month of October before making his way back east.  You can watch the video for, On Top Of Your Love, on You Tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MYSxbH_4-k&ob=av2e).  As always, you can hear this song as well as others that I blog about each day on Live 365 (www.live365.com/stations/raisedoncndnradio).  Thanks for reading and enjoy!
